About NDDC Recruitment
The Niger Delta Development Commission was established in 2000 as a federal agency focused on sustainable development across Nigeria’s Niger Delta region, tackling infrastructure gaps, environmental remediation, and youth empowerment across nine states: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers.
NDDC recruitment doesn’t run on a fixed annual schedule, which creates exactly the kind of uncertainty that recruitment blogs exploit every year.
Is the NDDC Recruitment Form Out for 2026?
No, not officially.
As of the most recent verifiable publication, the NDDC recruitment form for 2026/2027 has not been released by the Commission, and no recruitment announcement has appeared on the official portal.
NDDC publishes all genuine recruitment notices exclusively through its own website, nowhere else.
Requirements for NDDC 2026 Recruitment
Before proceeding with the registration, you need to meet certain requirements to prove you are qualified and ready to be put through the NDDC screening exercise, thus increasing your chances of being recruited. Note that not all positions require having a degree.
- The first basic requirement is that you must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- You must not be less than eighteen (18) years of age and not more than forty (40) years at the time of application.
- Applicants must be physically and medically fit and be free from narcotics or hard drugs.
- Interested candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in no more than two sittings in the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE). Credit in English is compulsory for all interested candidates.
